Stafford Gatehouse Theatre closed until further notice with staff furloughed
Staff at Stafford's Gatehouse Theatre have been furloughed due to coronavirus, it has been announced.
The decision means people seeking refunds will have to wait until the theatre is reopened to be repaid.
It comes after the Eastgate Street venue said it was now fully closed until further notice – with no time-scale set for when it will be opened up.
A statement from the theatre said: "Unfortunately due to Covid-19, the Gatehouse Theatre is fully closed until further notice and our staff have been placed on furlough.
"Without the staff and the venue being open, we are unable to provide refunds, credits or details on shows that have been rebooked.
