Fab music from the 50s and 60s brought back to life
The roaring 50s and 60s will be in full swing when two top shows make their way to the Gatehouse Theatre in Stafford.
The golden era of jukebox music will returns when a brand-new version of stage show Lipstick On Your Collar is performed on March 21.
Audiences will want to get their dancing shoes at the ready, grab a milkshake and relax for an evening of back-to-back hits from the 50s and 60s.
From the birth of rock 'n' roll through to the beat group sounds of the British Invasion and beyond, the show is packed with more than forty hits.
Performed by a full live band, songs from the likes of Connie Francis, Brenda Lee, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, The Beatles, The Ronettes, Cliff Richard and Cilla Black will all feature.
Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets cost £22.
The Upbeat Beatles will also be returning to Stafford later this year to perform the Fab Four's greatest hits.
From Beatlemania to psychedelia and beyond, the tribute band will tell the story of The Beatles through their songs.
Since 1997, The Upbeat Beatles use 13 guitars and four costume changes to help deliver their set.
The band appeared on ITV’s prime time programme, The Big Audition, in autumn and attracts audience of thousands all over the UK and Europe.
The band will be performing at the Gatehouse Theatre on May 30. Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets cost £23.
