Stafford band Naked Sunday to play with Pretty Boy Floyd
Stafford band Naked Sunday have announced they will be supporting US rockers Pretty Boy Floyd this month.
Frontman Martin Stanyer says the four-piece are still “buzzing” from a recent competition win that will see them play at Teddy Rocks Festival in Dorset this summer.
They will be rubbing shoulders from may 3 to May 5 on the same line-up as the likes of The Zutons, Toploader, Fatherson, The Lounge Kittens, The Darkness and Cannock rockers Wolf Jaw - formerly called The Bad Flowers, under which moniker they appeared in The Ticket Unsigned in February last year.
And this latest gig announcement is doubly sweet as their good friends Sykko Dollz will also be on the bill.

The show is on March 15, and takes place at The Iron Road in Pershore, Worcestershire.
Pretty Boy Floyd are a glam rock band that formed in Hollywood, Los Angeles, in 1987. Their debut record in 1989 - Leather Boyz with Electric Toyz – was their most popular, but after splitting in 1991 they reformed in 1995 and have been releasing material ever since.
For Stanyer, this is one gig that Naked Sunday could never refuse.
“We're looking forward to playing with Pretty Boy Floyd as they are a great band from the Los Angeles music scene and we are big fans,” he told us. “It will also be great to play with our good friends Sykko Dollz, who reached out a helping hand.
“For people who haven’t seen Naked Sunday before, they will get a good slab of rock ‘n’ roll, visually entertaining and musically solid. There are lots of big anthems."
Tickets for the support slot for Pretty Boy Floyd at The Iron Road, priced at £16.50, can be bought from We Got Tickets.
