IN PICTURES: Thousands in Stafford for Christmas lights-switch on
Thousands of people packed into Stafford town centre as the town’s Christmas lights were officially switched on.
With the Royal Air Force celebrating its 100th birthday this year, the honour of pushing the button on Saturday went to representatives from the RAF’s Tactical Supply Wing based at MoD Stafford.
The big moment came at 5pm and was followed by a firework display.
In Princes Street, the Makers Market returned for a second year and there was also Christmas-themed craft fair at the Ancient High House Museum.
