Range of music heading to Lichfield Garrick in February
There will be something for most music fans at Lichfield Guildhall in February.
The season kicks of on February 2 with the debut guildhall performance of Rodney Branigan. Hailed as a guitar hero with a way of playing more than one instrument at a time the composer and singer-songwriter has been wowing music fans around the country, at jaw-dropping solo shows and many festivals.
Tickets are £12.00, £10.80 for Friends of Lichfield Arts and £6.00 for under 16’s.
On Saturday February 10 Jez Lowe will be making his long-awaited return to the Guildhall. A double nomination in the 2015 BBC Folk Awards – for best singer and best new song – was a timely reminder of Jez Lowe’s standing in the UK folk and acoustic music scene. Tickets are £12.00, £10.80 for Friends of Lichfield Arts and £6 for under 16’s.
There will be a definite blues hue in the Guildhall when The Chris Bevington Organisation make their Lichfield Guildhall debut on Sunday February 18.
The band have just released Album number three for 2018 and are really looking forward to playing tracks from it at The Lichfield Guildhall where they be recording and making a Live DVD.

Then on Saturday 24 th February the fast rising folk rock band False Lights will be making their Lichfield
Guildhall debut.
A Lichfield Arts Spokesman said ‘We have something for every fan of quality live music in February, see
the adventurous music making of Rodney Branigan, or hear some of the better known new folk songs
performed by their original writer with Jez Lowe. Then we have two exciting bands, with the bluesy rock of
The Chris Bevington Organisation, and you could even appear on their new live album and DVD, and then
we have False Lights, one of the most exciting folk rock groups to emerge in recent years’.
