Middle Of Nowhere Festival to bring bands, fun and beer to Penkridge farm
Music fans will descend on a Penkridge farm later this month for the annual Middle Of Nowhere Festival.
The rock, blues and country festival, based at Lower Drayton Farm, is a family-friendly event complete with performances from dozens of bands, a maize maze, 'friendly animals', pony rides, an adventure playground and children's craft activities.
The three-day event runs from Friday, July 28 to Sunday, July 30.
A licensed bar will be on site.
It is possible to camp onsite and glamping pods are available. See below for details of ticket prices.
The line-up for this year is as follows:
FRIDAY (Music from 6pm-11pm)
The Taskers
Influenced by the likes of Pearl Jam, Weezer and Alice In Chains, The Taskers are a band which describe themselves as making 'loud, honest and original music'.
Armed with a piano, cello and violin, this act experiments with everything from acoustic folk to drum machine-driven house.
Too Petty (Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers tribute)
Paying tribute to legendary rock icons Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, this band boasts members of Fleetwood Bac, the UK's first Fleetwood Mac tribute.
Expect all the hits, including Into The Great Wide Open, Free Falling, I Won't Back Down and more.
Lost The Plot
This band's set is described by the festival as 'madcap acoustic covers from four men and a supporting cast of rubber ducks and soft toys'.
From folk, to rock, to punk and pop, this act covers 'anything and everything' that can be stripped down and belted out with energy.
Fleetwood Bac (Fleetwood Mac tribute)
The UK's first Fleetwood Mac tribute act, Fleetwood Bac is said to replicate a full Fleetwood Mac show as they were back in the 70s and 80s; the look, the sound and the stage chemistry.
Expect hits such as Landslide, Rhiannon, Dreams and The Chain.
SATURDAY (Music from midday to 11pm)
Jump The Shark
Local lads from Wolverhampton Jump The Shark are a four-piece indie band who won the 2015 BRIT Award for The Next Big Thing Music Project.
Their sound blends psychedelia, heavy riffs, and bittersweet pop melodies.
The Angels With Dirty Faces
This seven-piece country act from Nottingham reached number four in the Country Music charts last year with single Shatter Like Glass.

Their influences include bands such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Eagles and Zac Brown.
The Blue Horizon
Hailing all the way from Somerset, this band covers artists such as Cream, Eric Clapton, Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac and Jimi Hendrix.
The trio is made of a guitarist, bassist and drummer.
The Goat Roper Rodeo Band
Playing 'cosmic country blues' on Saturday will be The Goat Roper Rodeo Band from Rhuddlan, Wales.
The three-piece acoustic act play all acoustic, with two acoustic guitars and an upright bass.
The Zeppelin 3 (Led Zeppelin tribute)
West Midlands tribute act The Zeppelin 3 say they pride themselves on being a 'soundalike' band, rather than 'lookalikes'.
The trio from Walsall consists of Jack Evans on guitar, John Evans on drums and Steve Evans on bass, vocals, harmonica and mandolin.
Black Rose (Thin Lizzy tribute)
This four-piece Bolton-based band were described by music journalist Mick Wall as 'easily the best Thin Lizzy tribute act going'.
Their set will feature some of Thin Lizzy's biggest hits, such as Emerald, The Boys Are Back In Town, Jailbreak, Whiskey In The Jar and The Rocker.
Gaz Brookfield
Since winning Acoustic Magazine’s 2010 Singer Songwriter of the Year award, Bristol-based Gaz Brookfield has spent his time on the road, touring the UK and Europe.
In this time he has shared the stage with the likes of The Levellers, Frank Turner, New Model Army, Nick Harper and Newton Faulkner.
The Kettering-born musician plays folk and rock.
Glam 45
Glam rock fans will be treated to an array of hits from the 70s by this four-piece band from Manchester.
Expect to hear hits from the likes of The Sweet, T-Rex, David Bowie, Mott The Hoople, Roxy Music, Mud and more.
The band is made up of bassist and backing singer Steve Fielding, guitarist and lead vocalist Chuff, David Airey on guitar and backing vocals, and Gav Baskerville on drums.
SUNDAY (Music from midday to 10pm)
Jake Henry Band
Birmingham-based singer songwriter Jake Henry will bring his brand of soul and RnB to the festival on the Sunday.

The Runawayz
Trio The Runawayz is set to play a set packed with rock and rockabilly.
Hailing from Stoke, Sheffield and Ipswich, this band is made up of Joe Newbon on guitar and vocals, Sam French on bass and vocals and Curt Jones on drums and vocals.
They are relatively new band, having formed in April 2015.
Smashed
Describing themselves as playing 'sleazy, trashy glam rock', this band hails from both Stafford and Bolton.
Back in the 80s and 90s, Smashed made a name for themselves supporting acts such as The Wildhearts.
After a 23-year rest, the band is back for a reunion gig at this festival.
Dan Baird & Homemade Sin
Sunday headliners Dan Baird & Homemade Sin will bring a set filled with country rock.
Within the group, frontman Dan Baird – an original member of The Georgia Satellites – is joined by fellow ex Satellite Mauro Magellan on drums, ex-Bonafide bassist Micke Björk, guitarist and founder member of Jason & The Scorchers, Warner E. Hodges.
The Middle Of Nowhere Jam Band will also perform on the Sunday evening.
Weekend camping tickets cost £60, which includes shower access and up to seven nights stay.
Day tickets cost £15 for the Friday, £20 for the Saturday and £15 for the Sunday. Children under 12 go free.
