TV presenter Dermot O’Leary has updated fans on wife Dee Koppang’s pregnancy.

The X Factor host announced the couple were expecting their first child together in February, after almost eight years of marriage.

O’Leary appeared on The One Show on Thursday and told presenter Alex Jones that Koppang will give birth in the summer.

He said: “Expecting end of June, early July, the perfect time to bring a child into this world!”

O’Leary, 46, said the lockdown had given the family time to prepare for the new arrival.

“We’re pretty much getting ourselves together,” he said.

O’Leary and TV producer Koppang tied the knot in 2012.

They announced they were expecting on February 1, with a post on Instagram.

O’Leary will co-host the BBC’s coverage of the One World: Together At Home concert, which has been curated by Lady Gaga.

The concert will be broadcast live in the US on Saturday and will air in the UK on Sunday.

Artists set to perform include Sir Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder, Lady Gaga and Billie Eilish.
