Sian Webber will make a dramatic return to EastEnders when she reprises the role of lawyer Ritchie Scott next week.

The solicitor, known for helping Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) with his legal troubles, will make a brief return to the BBC soap, helping Mitchell avoid another conviction.

Scott will rush back to Walford and attempt to stop Mitchell from handing himself in for causing the boat accident that killed Dennis Rickman Jr.

His decision could lead to the police falsely believing he tried to kill Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) at Christmas.

Scott has appeared in various storylines since 2005, after making her debut advising Mitchell’s mother Peggy ahead of his trial for armed robbery.

However, their relationship fell apart in 2015 when Scott refused to help Mitchell when he was accused of tampering with brakes on a car, almost killing his cousin Ronnie.

This episode airs on Monday April 6.
