Stephen Mangan takes off Killing Eve assassin Villanelle in a video for the Bafta TV Craft Awards.

The actor is hosting Sunday’s ceremony, which celebrates the technical achievements of those behind the camera in the past year of television, and opens with a video parodying the hit drama.

In his sketch, entitled Killing Steve, Mangan dons a frothy pink dress to play Villanelle, who is played by Jodie Comer in the show.

His character is being interviewed by two people who question the “psychopathic quality” to his recent awards presenting.

After they have quizzed him, he whips out a gun and shoots them both.

“Oops!” he says.

Killing Eve is about MI5 officer Eve (Sandra Oh) and her cat-and-mouse hunt for psychotic Villanelle.

It is nominated for nine prizes at the ceremony.
