Ryan Thomas reveals a back riddled with scars in new images from his Neighbours debut.
The former Coronation Street actor, 33, has swapped the cobbles for Erinsborough, playing an English tourist called Rafael Humphreys in the long-running Australian soap.
He will make his debut in a dramatic late night episode next month.
Rafael, described as a loner with dark secrets, comes to Ramsay Street to confront a difficult chapter from his past.
Although he has a score to settle in Erinsborough, his revenge plot begins to falter as he falls for a resident.
Neighbours airs Monday to Friday on Channel 5 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm.
