Cheryl Baker brings Eurovision to Dancing On Ice
Making Your Mind Up won Eurovision in 1981.
Cheryl Baker recreated her famous Bucks Fizz number Making Your Mind Up on Dancing On Ice – and viewers loved it.
The band won the Eurovision Song Contest with the song in 1981 and it also topped the charts.
Baker, 63, and her professional partner Daniel Whiston performed to the track on the ice-skating show – complete with the part where her skirt was whipped off to reveal a shorter one underneath.
One person posted on Twitter: “Cheryl Baker performing an ice skating version of ‘Making You Mind Up’ is the type of tv I pay the licence fee for.”
Another praised: “Oh my god Cheryl skating to Making Your Mind Up was all sorts of iconic. Getting my five votes!”
Although it went down well with viewers, the routine did not win over the judges, with Jason Gardiner declaring it had “zero fizz”.
