See the new Big Brother trailer with 'culture clash' theme
The reality show is back and has a new trailer.
Big Brother has offered fans a first look at what the coming series has in store for them with a new trailer.
The Channel 5 reality series which throws a group of strangers together as housemates living in close quarters was previously announced to have chosen a “culture clash of modern Britain” theme for this summer’s run.
Now, the first trailer for what will be the 18th series of Big Brother has been released, giving further clues as to the range of contestants who have been chosen as housemates.
The voiceover says: “From every corner of the land, from have-nots to have lots, from gamer to game-for-it, this is United Kingdom of Big Brother and everyone is welcome.”
Phrases flashing up during the ad include “I’m heir to a country estate”, and “I had to marry in secret”.
Scenes from around the UK show a coastal area, mountains, a boarded-up terraced street, a country pile, a row of pretty cottages and a city centre.
Channel 5 recently said: “This summer, Big Brother presents a must-watch culture clash of modern Britain.
“At a time of political upheaval and tough questions about unity in the UK, Big Brother brings you an alternative look at Britain.”
Emma Willis, who has just had emergency surgery for an infected appendix, is back as host, while Rylan Clark-Neal will return to present spin-off show Big Brother’s Bit On The Side.
Big Brother will launch in June on Channel 5.
