The second series will see Dev and his friend Arnold, played by Eric Wareheim, travel to Italy and the new footage shows them riding scooters and jumping into an open-air swimming pool fully clothed.

The trailer also shows the friends back in New York, with the return of Lena Waithe as Denise, as well as John seated at a piano and Bobby handing out high fives and making toasts.

It also appears Dev will go on numerous dates in the new series, as the clip shows him seated at the same restaurant table with different women, while his on-and-off girlfriend Rachel, played by Noel Wells, is absent from the trailer.

The first series ended with the couple splitting up and Dev leaving the US to realise his dream of travelling to Italy.

The second series of Master Of None will stream on Netflix on May 12.
