Black Country blues rocker Joanne Shaw Taylor returns to the Robin 2 in Bilston in November.

Still in her 20s, the Wednesbury-born guitarist-singer, has drawn much critical praise for her two albums, White Sugar and Diamonds In The Dirt and was named Female Vocalist Of The Year at the 2010 British Blues Awards.

She plays the Robin 2 on Tuesday November 22, 2011. Tickets cost £15 and are available from the Robin 2 box office on 01902 401211 or at www.therobin.co.uk

It's been a busy year for Shaw Taylor, who has been touring worldwide, either headlining her own shows or as support for artists including Black Country Communion and Glenn Hughes. She played the Robin 2 in May this year.

Now based in Detroit, she told the Express & Star earlier in the year: "We're touring pretty heavily through the summer and we're going to try to do another album in September and have that out for later this year. To be honest I think my next day off is Christmas Day!"
