The London musician began his career in the Canterbury scene of the 1960s, and became a member of groups such as Khan, Gong and System 7.

The 68-year-old guitarist has amassed over eight solo studio albums and recently released acclaimed boxset Searching For The Spark.

He played his first live dates with the Steve Hillage Band after a 40-year break last year, playing to sell-out crowds.

The new line-up features Hillage and partner Miquette Giraudy alongside members of Gong.

The Steve Hillage Band will play KKs Steel Mill on October 8.
