Britain's Got Talent star brings Disney display to care home
Britain's Got Talent star Pippa Langhorne added some extra sparkle to a care home in Great Wyrley as elderly residents celebrated Disney day.
The singer, who reached the semi-finals of the top ITV talent show in 2011, visited Lakeview Care Home near Walsall for the special event.
Dressed up as Belle from Beauty and the Beast, in a bright yellow gown, Pippa delighted residents with songs such as "Beauty and the Beast" and "Belle".
She works as a professional singing Belle for princess parties held across the West Midlands but found fame after singing opera on Britain's Got Talent along with her dog Buddy, who would howl next to her.
But Buddy stayed at home in Worcester for this event – with Pippa taking centre stage.
The treat was arranged for residents and staff at the home on Stafford Road on Wednesday, September 18, to coincide with a Disney Day.
Tracey York, business development lead at Alpha Health Care which runs Lakeview says: "All the residents had a great time watching this special visitor as many of them have watched the show and couldn't wait to hear her beautiful voice."
All staff and residents will be dressed in Disney characters and enjoying other themed activities across the day.
