Beverley Knight is set to release a new album to celebrate 25 years in the music industry.
The Wolverhampton soul sensation will release BK25: Beverley Knight with The Leo Green Orchestra at The Royal Festival Hall on November 8 with fans able to pre-order a copy now.
The album was recorded during the 46-year-old musician theatre actress and singer's sell-out concert at London’s Royal Festival Hall on May 23rd with symphony orchestra.
The show saw the songstress perform a number of her biggest hits, including Shoulda Woulda Coulda, Greatest Day, Flavours of the Old School, Come as You Are and more as well as covers of hit songs by Erma Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Chaka Khan and Whitney Houston.
This year has also seen the star celebrate the milestone with a co-headline slot with Billy Ocean at Kew the Music Festival, Royal Botanical Gardens in July.
Next month she will perform at Birmingham Symphony Hall celebrating the songs of Stevie Wonder in association with Radio 2 and Live Nation.
The multi award-winning musician is widely regarded as one of the greatest soul singers of her generation. After receiving a host of accolades, including three MOBO Awards, Knight was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Urban Music Awards in 2004.
After more than a decade in the music industry, Knight was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire in 2006 in recognition of her contribution to British music.
In 2015, she was made an honorary Doctor of Music by the University of Wolverhampton.
She made her panto debut in 2017 at Birmingham Hippodrome as the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella, following theatre performances in The Bodyguard, Cats and Memphis.
