WV1 Fest: Set times revealed for Wolverhampton tribute festival
The set times have been released ahead of this weekend's WV1 Fest in Wolverhampton.
The two-day West Park event will see a range of tribute bands perform across two stages.
Featuring more than 30 live acts, the event will also include kids' activities, beer tents, market stalls and food tents.
Bands playing the Wolverhampton event on the Saturday include AC/DC tribute Whole Lotta DC, Link N Park, Pantera UK, Limp Bizkit tribute act Stiff Bizcuit, Mentallica, Iron Maiden cover band Higher on Maiden, Megadeth UK, and Judas Priest tribute act Hell Bent Forever.
Around 7,500 people turned out to the event last year from all across the country.
Speaking ahead of the event, Jools Taylor, UK Tribute Festival director, said: “We have had an extremely positive reaction on announcing coming back to West Park this year. We expect all of the free tickets to be snapped up by weekend.
"Our Festivals are unique as we don’t charge for the costly ticket price, we literally give the tickets away all the festival goers just pay a small booking charge of £3.90.
"People really appreciate what we do and the fact it’s free really adds to atmosphere and overall experience."
Tickets to the event are free, all that must be paid is the booking fee of £3.90.
