Get ready to Spice Up Your Lives as reunion tour heads to Midlands
Spice Girl Geri has given fans a sneak peek of the group's upcoming reunion tour ahead of its arrival in the Midlands
Geri posted a picture of herself on stage rehearsing alongside bandmate Mel C ahead of the tour’s opening night in Dublin on Friday, as well as a shot of the stage, complete with large screens on either side and a large Spice World set piece in the centre of the stage.
Geri, who is Ginger Spice in the group, wrote on Instagram: “Spice World Production rehearsals done! Welcome to Spice World 2019! See you in Dublin! #3daystogo #HouseofGinger.”
Two decades after the Spice Girls revolutionised the 90s pop landscape, members Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm and Geri Horner, formerly Geri Halliwell, have reformed and will be bringing their headline world tour to Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on June 3 and 4.
It will mark the group’s first performance together since the 2012 Summer Olympics closing ceremony and their first tour without Victoria Beckham, who was unable to take part due to other commitments.
