Rescheduled Glenn Hughes Classic Deep Purple dates announced

Glenn Hughes has announced the rescheduled dates for his Classic Deep Purple Tour.

The Cannock rock icon will now perform at Birmingham's O2 Institute on November 29 after having to postpone the tour due to illness.

A post was shared on his social media which said the musician needs to be treated for an illness which is "not life threatening" but "must be dealt with immediately".

Refunds for customers who've purchased tickets for the above can be made available until May 27 should they no longer wish to or are unable to attend the rescheduled November dates.

Glenn, who fronted the MK three and MK four incarnations of Deep Purple, debuted the show in Australia and New Zealand in 2017.

The tour is the first time the musician has performed shows solely comprising of Deep Purple songs.

The eagerly-anticipated set will include hit songs such as Burn, Mistreated, Stormbringer, Getting Tighter and more.

Speaking ahead of the show, Glenn said: "I’m excited to be touring the Classic Deep Purple Live in the UK this October.

"I first toured Classic Deep Purple Live in Australia and New Zealand last year and it went down like a storm".
