Claudia hopes to have X Factor as auditions for hit TV show continue
The X Factor returned to the West Midlands in a bid to find the country's next superstar.
Auditions were held at The Ballroom in Birmingham over the weekend.
Among the hopefuls vying for stardom is Claudia McRobie, from Tipton.
She turned out for the auditions in a bid to become the next big thing.
A spokesman for the show said: "The auditions are open to all genres and types of singers, including those performing their own original material.
"So if you think you are the next Dalton Harris, Rak-Su, One Direction or Little Mix and think you have what it takes to be chosen to be on the next series of The X Factor, make sure you apply to audition."
Hopefuls auditioned to take part in series 16 of the popular talent show.
People could also audition by sending a video of themselves, or friends or family, to The X Factor's WhatsApp phone number.
Artists discovered by the talent competition have gone on to sell more than 500 million records worldwide.
Boy band One Direction, featuring Wolverhampton's own Liam Payne, sold more than 150 million records worldwide and won seven BRIT awards.
Dalton Harris, who won X Factor last year, went straight to number one on the iTunes chart and debuted at number one on the Official Vodafone Big Top 40.
The track charted at number four on the Official UK Chart.
