The multi award-winning band have sold more than half a million albums, wowed audiences of stage and screen in more than 30 countries, and played iconic venues like Old Trafford and The London Palladium.

Yet according to the band, their greatest challenge comes at their Black Country show because that's when the group will play in front of the world's most important audience - lead guitarist Adam’s family and school friends.

Talking ahead of the show Adam, who grew up in Netherton, said: "The Zoots have played in front of audiences on four continents, from Havana to Washington, Dubai to Dubrovnik— but there's something especially nerve-wracking about playing to a home crowd, especially when your Mum and all her friends are there."

Jamie Goddard, the band's singer and front man, added: "When Adam admitted that he was nervous to play in front of his family, I persuaded him that it would be a great opportunity to play at Brierley Civic Hall, in front of his school friends and family. At least there would be a guaranteed crowd.”

The Sounds of the 60s show is a critically acclaimed theatre show which takes the audience on a trip back to the time of The Beatles, The Stones, The Kinks, The Shadows, The Small Faces, The Beach Boys, Cliff Richard and many more.

The Zoots will play Brierley Hill Civic Hall on February 8.
