The Cardigans play Birmingham's O2 Academy - in pictures
The Cardigans wowed crowds in Birmingham last night when they brought their new headline show to the O2 Academy.
Hailing from Sweden, the pop rock band - formed back in 1992 - is best known for songs such as My Favourite Game, Lovefool and Erase/Rewind.
Since starting out, the group has had a total of three UK top 10 singles and 11 UK top 40 hits.
The band is made up of members Lars-Olof Johansson, Peter Svensson, Bengt Lagerberg, Nina Persson, and Magnus Sveningsson.
The group were supported by fellow Swedish musician Jenny Wilson at the show.
Jenny founded the band First Floor Power in 1997 and released two albums, There Is Hope and Nerves, before leaving the band to go solo in 2004.
