Bloodstock Festival 2019: Grand Magus, Evil Scarecrow and more announced
Swedish head metal trio Grand Magus have been announced to play Bloodstock Festival 2019.
Other bands revealed to play the three-day Catton Park event include Death Angel, Metal Church, Ross The Boss and Evil Scarecrow.
They will join previously-announced acts such as Sabaton, Scorpions, Children of Bodom, Cradle of Filth and more.
Talking ahead of the event, Grand Magus frontman and guitarist Janne 'JB' Christoffersson said: “We are honoured to be headlining the Sophie Lancaster stage and we will put our hearts and souls into making it something special for all of you. Can't wait to see you all".
Formed in 1996, the group are best known for songs such as Last One to Fall, Born for Battle, Forged in Iron - Crowned in Steel and Freja's Choice.
They draw influence from the likes of Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Judas Priest, Rainbow, Uriah Heep, Nazareth and Manowar.
Bloodstock Festival comes to Catton Park from August 8 to 11.
