Howard Jones' 35th Anniversary Transform tour coming to Symphony Hall
Pioneer of synth-pop Howard Jones will play Birmingham next year.
The show, coming to the Symphony Hall, will celebrate both the release of his new album Transform and the 35th anniversary of his debut album, Human's Lib.
Transform, which is set to be released in May next year, will be his first release since the 2015 multi-media album.
Engage and according to the 63-year-old musician, will be a return to his electronic-pop roots.
"It’s been a long time since I have made an album full of electronic based pop tunes" says Howard.
"I know it’s the record many of my fans have been waiting patiently for."
As well as performing his newer hits, the shows are sure to feel nostalgic for many as the star is set to revive many hits such as What is Love, New Song, Pearl In The Shell, Things Can Only Get Better and Hide and Seek.
Howard will be joined on tour by Liverpool-born band, China Crisis.
China Crisis will also be showcasing their unique repertoire, and will be performing hit songs like Wishful Thinking, Black Man Ray and Working With Fire and Steel.
Howard Jones will perform at Birmingham's Symphony Hall on May 23.
