Bloodstock Festival 2019: Scorpions announced as Sunday headline act
German rock legends Scorpions have been announced as the Sunday night headliner at Bloodstock Festival.
It will be the group's first time playing the Catton Park event, which they will play alongside previously-announced Friday headline act Sabaton.
Talking ahead of the festival, Scorpions stated: "We are very happy and proud to be headlining at Bloodstock Festival 2019 in Derbyshire and we‘re thrilled to rock our fans in the UK once again like a hurricane.”
Formed in 1965, the quintet have released 18 studio albums, 27 compilation albums, 74 singles, and have sold over 160 million albums in more than 50 years.
Their albums, singles, compilations and video releases have reached gold, platinum and multi-platinum status 200 times in different countries.
Bloodstock Festival takes place at Catton Park from August 8 to 11.
