Take That announce extra Birmingham show
Take That will play an extra Birmingham date on their upcoming tour due to popular demand.
Tickets for their Arena Birmingham shows on May 12 to 14 and 16 to 18, with support from pop icon Rick Astley, went on sale this morning.
Director of ticketing for The Ticket Factory, Richard Howle, informed us that the website had over 50,000 visitors in four hours, and contact centres took more than 10,000 calls from fans eager to bag themselves tickets.
Tickets sold so well that an extra date has been added at the city centre venue on May 19.
The tour is to celebrate the group's 30 year anniversary and perform some of fans favourite songs.
Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Robbie Williams formed Take That in 1990, and have since had 20 top 40 singles and 17 top five singles in the UK.
Both Robbie and Jason have since departed the band, but the trio continue to entertain fans across the world.
They announced that they would release their Greatest Hits album on November 23 this year, which will also include collaborations with Boyz II Men, Imogen Heap, and Barry Gibb.
Tickets for Take That's shows at Arena Birmingham are on sale now.
