The Sutton Coldfield band, fronted by original members Sid Truelove and Zillah Minx, have recently released their sixth full-length album Danger of Death following Planet Punk in 2014.

Rubella Ballet formed at a gig in 1979 when Crass invited their audience to use their equipment, who they went on to tour extensively with.

Their day-glo anarcho-punk guise caught the attention of legendary DJ John Peel in 1982, who went on to commission two of the band's sessions for the BBC.

Rubella Ballet play Birmingham's Wagon and Horses on October 6.
