The Blackheart Orchestra to play Bilston
Award-winning British songwriters, composers and multi-instrumentalist duo Chrissy Mostyn and Richard Pilkington, aka The Blackheart Orchestra, will line-up at Bilston’s Robin 2 on Wednesday.
The band blend musical styles in a non-conformist way, seamlessly sidestepping boundaries to create their unique, acoustic/electronic/symphonic music.
It’s won acclaim from former Genesis performer Steve Hackett, among others, who said: “Beautiful and powerful.”
The Blackheart Orchestra’s experimental approach combines acoustic instrumental dexterity and 80s synthesisers with classical composition.
Their music was the soundtrack for new movie Charlie and Me.
