The announcement comes after the 25-year-old singer/songwriter headlined Boardmasters Festival in Newquay, and ahead of his sold-out UK tour that begins in November.

Earlier this year, George also headlined Forest Live and Cannock Chase alongside the likes of Paloma Faith, Billy Bragg, and Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott.

The tour also comes in support of his recently released number one album, Staying At Tamara’s, that is officially the biggest selling album released so far this year. It remains in the top five of the Official Albums Chart 20 weeks after release, while his current single Shotgun became his first ever number one single in June.

The Hertford musician first rose to prominence in 2014 with the release of hit single Budapest.

He released his debut studio album, Wanted on Voyage in the same year, which became the third best-selling album of the year in the UK.

George is best known for other hit singles such as Blame it on Me, Listen to the Man, Barcelona, and Don't Matter Now.

George Ezra will play Birmingham's Genting Arena on March 17, 2019.
