Birmingham return for Sunflower Bean
New York trio Sunflower Bean only played Birmingham in March, but they must have enjoyed their gig so much they are coming back in the autumn.
That March show was at Kings Heath’s Hare & Hounds to promote their new record Twentytwo in Blue, which we reviewed here.
Now Jacob Faber, Julia Cumming and Nick Kivlen have set their eyes on a set at the Castle & Falcon to close their 12-date autumn sojourn.
Sunflower Bean released Twentytwo in Blue when all members of the band were 22 years old - which also came almost two years and two months after the release of their critically acclaimed 2016 debut album Human Ceremony.
