Worldwide record deal for Joanne Shaw Taylor - as star announces Bilston show
A Black Country-born star of the blues rock scene has won a worldwide record deal with Sony.
Joanne Shaw Taylor's future releases will be released on Sony's reactivated Silvertone label.
The singer and guitarist, who was born in Wednesbury, has just begun work on a new album to be released early in 2019.
She will be returning to play in her home Black Country on October 7 at the Robin 2 in Bilston with tickets going on sale on Friday.
Her previous albums Wild in 2016 and The Dirty Truth in 2014 were released on Axehouse Music.
Silvertone is known primarily as the label that signed The Stone Roses and released the British band’s debut album in 1989.
