She followed the likes of Adele and Sam Smith in picking up the Critics' Choice Award.
The Critics' Choice Award is given to artists tipped to have a big future in the music industry. Some of the UK's biggest names have won the award in the past, including Adele, Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding and Emeli Sande.
As well as collecting her award, Jorja also performed at the Brits along with Wolverhampton's former One Direction star Liam Payne. The ceremony at London's O2 Arena was hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall.
Stars attending the Brits were given a white rose badge before they took to the red carpet in the latest protest over the Harvey Weinstein scandal that rocked Hollywood last year.
