V Festival 2017: George Ezra dedicates Barcelona to terror victims
He may be only 24, but Hertford singer/songwriter George Ezra delivered a set far beyond his years at V.
The blond, fresh-faced star sounded incredible from start to end; his rich, velvety vocals impressing throughout.
George dedicated his song Barcelona to the victims of recent terror attacks early on his set; bringing a solemn, but unified feel to the show.
And as the crowds faced torrential showers to see the singer, he kept spirits high; encouraging fans to sing along to his hit-filled set.
"Hello V Festival, I am George Ezra and this is my lovely band," grinned the star.
He treated fans to upbeat songs such as Listen To The Man, a lively ska-like tune which soon made the crowd forget the dreaded weather.
The audience also witnessed a performance of new song Hold My Girl - a beautiful slow number which even saw a violin played on stage.
New hit Don't Matter Now saw the crowd burst into life and, as the rain continued to pour, fans were seen shaking off the water and dancing to every beat.
Fan favourites Blame It On Me and Budapest came next, provoking roaring applause from the crowd.
Dressed in a red shirt and jeans, playing a black electric guitar, George repeatedly shouted out 'come on', encouraging fans to sing along - not that they needed the push.
An excellent set with a range of songs old and new; and a stunning display of George's talents.
