Hugh Cornwell (formerly of The Stranglers) to play Wolverhampton
Founding frontman of The Stranglers Hugh Cornwell will play for fans in Wolverhampton later this year.
The 67-year-old musician is best known for his time as the singer of The Stranglers, with whom he performed from 1974 to 1990.
This acoustic performance at Wolverhampton's Civic Hall will feature songs spanning his entire career from early Stranglers to the current day, including new and never before performed songs from the next studio album 'Villains'.

The star is also known for his solo music work, as well as having written five books about his career. He has also appeared in a number of productions, including the 1987 Peter Richardson film Eat the Rich, the award-winning BBC Screen Two series (successor to Play for Today) and in the 1995 BBC production, Rumble. He has also appeared in a number of videos and short films, including Bertrand Fèvre's L'étoile de sang and Ben Thomas' Somewhere.
