He may not be as well known as his brother but Chris Andre still dazzled the crowds when he turned out for a guest appearance at a fundraising gig.

Chris Andre, the brother of Pete, took to the stage at Wednesbury Conservative Club for the concert which aimed to bring in around £2,000 for Prostate Cancer UK.

And the musician soon had the crowd up and dancing with performances of Bob Marley's Three Little Birds and The Mavericks' Dance the Night Away.

And in a nod to his pop star sibling he even played a version of Mysterious Girl.

Speaking before the show, Mr Andre said he was delighted to perform at the event. He was asked to appear by organiser Peter Lloyd, who himself is battling prostate cancer.

And Mr Andre said it was a cause close to his own heart after losing his brother Andrew to kidney cancer in December.

"Andrew may have suffered from a different type of cancer than prostate but it is all aspects of the same illness," he said.

"Our family is very close-knit and we have all suffered the trauma of losing a brother. Although we are close we all feel able to go off and do our own thing. Peter is, of course, very supportive and heavily involved in his own charity work.

"I am very pleased to have been asked to perform at this event and helping to contribute to a very good cause. It is a great venue. I just wanted to do something to help people battling this illness and support those working to find a cure."

And he added: "Really the night is a tribute to the hard work of Peter Lloyd who has set everything up. The venue is packed out. It is wonderful."

While Chris took to the stage in Wednesbury his more famous sibling has been gearing up for the release of his 2014 calendar and filming his reality show.
