Andre Rieu announces third Birmingham LG Arena date
Legendary Dutch violinist, conductor and composer, André Rieu has confirmed he will play three consecutive nights at Birmingham's LG Arena.
Billed as 'the world's most popular classical artist' André Rieu is renowned for his energetic live concerts, and will now perform at the LG Arena on December 18, 19 and 20.
His tour titled 'An unforgettable evening with André Rieu', will show the maestro conducting his 60-piece Johann Strauss Orchestra and playing his world-famous Stradivarius violin.
Fans at the 'King of Waltz's' concerts are positively encouraged to get out of their seats to waltz in the aisles themselves.
Rieu has album sales of more than 30 million globally, and has broken all classical concert records, packing stadiums and arenas with more than 700,000 adoring fans each year.
This makes him one of the best-selling live acts in the world and he has seven albums listed in the British music DVD top 40 with his latest release 'Fiesta Mexicana!' reaching the number one spot.
