Black Country duo launching new single

Black Country poet Brendan Hawthorne has many talents tucked up his sleeve and his latest will see him turning his hand to song writing.

Joining forces with local singer Kerry Halford, the pair - folk/blues combo So It Goes - will be performing material from forthcoming album Because and celebrating the release of their new single Day Like Today at a special launch night at Wednesbury Town Hall on Wednesday.

Other performers at the event will include Beechwood, a local three-piece band who play an eclectic mix of self-penned material; Wolverhampton singer/songwriter Alex Vann and members of Bilston Operatic Company.
