Music fans will be rocking around the clock at a Black Country beauty spot this Sunday.

Haden Hill House and park, off Barrs Road in Cradley Heath will be holding the one-day Opportunity Rocks festival between 11am and 6pm giving young bands and singers a chance to perform live and showcase their talents.

Jane Hanney, museum services manager at Sandwell Museum Service, said: "We have loads of great rock, indie and pop acts playing and all are local young people from Sandwell, Halesowen and Stourbridge wanting to get their bands or themselves noticed and get their first chances at playing in front of a large audience.

"The acts ages range from 14 to 21 so it is a great opportunity for them to get up and play live."

As well as the live music there will also be a bungee run, vintage clothes sale inside the house, temporary tattoos, a DJ and food.

Jane added: "We are hoping the event will take off and become a regular annual festival of music."
