Around 10,000 people enjoyed a packed weekend of live music, comedy and storytelling at Lichfield's Fuse Festival.

The free arts festival kicked off in Beacon Park on Friday and ended on Sunday.

About 30 bands played over the three days, including Rebel Creek, The Silvana Family band, Bleeding Hearts and Fat Digester, among many more.

The city event also had an interactive ukulele workshop, dance workshops and displays from the Charlie's Angels Dance Company.

Timothy Hardington performed the works of Charles Dickens and there was a silent disco. The annual festival was organised by Lichfield Arts and has been running for 12 years.

Tim Perks, festival organiser, said: "We were affected by the weather and had to move to another area of Beacon Park.

"We were thinking of cancelling on Thursday but thanks to lots of hard work we made it happen.

"It was a very peaceful and relaxed event. There was a great family atmosphere to the whole thing."
