Rod Stewart tribute act at Robin 2, Bilston

As Rod Stewart himself once said: "If you can't afford my ticket price, go and see these guys. They're just as good and half the price!"

He was of course talking about Jim Cregan and Gary Grainger's act Apart From Rod.

The pair – Rod Stewart's fellow guitarists and collaborative songwriters from 1977 to the present day – will play a gig at Bilston's Robin 2 venue on Saturday (February 18, 2012).

Guest vocalist Ben Mills will join them to perform a string of Rod's hit songs.

Many of Rod Stewart's most successful hits were co-written with Rod by Jim and Gary and the trio toured the world together.

For tomorrow night's gig in Wolverhampton, Jim and Gary will be joined by drummer Harry James. Tickets are £12 in advance or £14 on the door, call 01902 401211.
