Staffordshire pub in last 16 of national Pub of the Year competition after winning last year
The reigning national pub of the year has once again reached the last 16 of the Campaign for Real Ale's annual competition.
The Tamworth Tap has won the West Midlands regional competition to go through to the national final.
CAMRA announced the top 16 pubs in the country following a year of judging.
The final four will be announced in October, before the overall winner is announced early 2024.
Pubs in the competition are scored on their atmosphere, decor, welcome, service, inclusivity, overall impression, but most importantly – the quality of live beer, real cider and perry.
