Pub up and running again with new touches and nod to the past after £180k renovation
A popular pub is up and running like never before after a £180,000 renovation.
The Crown at Codsall is up and running under the new management of Medicine Bakery, an artisan bakery, cafe and gallery with venues in Birmingham and Wolverhampton.
They have introduced a refurbished bar showcasing a large copper tank and historic Joule's iron signage and decor to backdrop their beer 'sweet shop' – serving draught cask ales; Joule's Pale Ale, Pure Blonde and Slumbering Monk, as well as their seasonal creations.
There is a new courtyard with a Green Monkey beer shed, said to be inspired by German Bierkellers and perfect for al fresco dining, live music and community events.
