The Good Food Show always attracts a large crowd

The Good Food Show returned to the NEC for its annual Summer Show, providing foodies, drinkers and gadget lovers with the opportunity to wander the halls in search of familiar favourites or something new between Thursday, June 15 and Sunday, June 18.

There were plenty of tasters for people to try during the show

The show had more than 250 exhibitors from all over the country and from as far afield as Los Angeles, selling everything from brownies to meringues to kitchen knives to skewers to biltong and flavoured vodkas.

Delicious treats like cinnamon buns were available to buy

People walking around the four halls of the exhibition were able to sample Cornish ice cream, Korean Kimchi and a range of cordials from Dr Fitzpatricks from Rawtenstall in Lancashire.

Ann Horan and Linda Miller from Mr Fitzpatrick's were enjoying their time at the show

While the show is a celebration of all types of food and drink, it's also an opportunity for companies from across the Black Country and Shropshire to showcase their wares, offer samples and meet people, all with the aim of increasing brand awareness and sell their products.

Some of the hot spices on offer from Little Sutton Biltong

The Little Sutton Biltong and Spice Company from Sutton Coldfield has been a festival favourite, with plenty of people coming to sample the different flavours of Biltong, from Lemon and Herb, all the way through to Naga Chilli flavour, as well as a new range of rubs.

Sam Denning from Little Sutton Biltong said the show was valuable for the showcasing opportunities

Owner Sam Denning said being at the show meant so much to her as a local businesswoman.

She said: "It's mean everything, especially for a business in Sutton Coldfield as we get a lot of repeat clients each year who bought things last year and know us from other shows that I've done across the Midlands.

Unique products were available to buy, like this mixture of ginger and pineapple

"We also get people asking if we were here and that means a lot to us as a customer base because it's good exposure and everybody's so friendly and nice and they want to try something different.
