Wolverhampton TikTok star shares excitement ahead of BBC Good Food Show appearance
A Wolverhampton man will be featuring in the BBC Good Food Show, after going viral on TikTok.
Mitch Lane - also known as MealsbyMitch on the video sharing app - has amassed over 1.2 million followers and is now set to feature at the ultimate show for food lovers.
The BBC Good Food Show is being held at the NEC in Birmingham from Thursday, June 15, to Sunday, June 18.
Mitch, 30, from Bilston, will be on the Summer kitchen stage on Sunday, where he will be cooking two quick dishes after his incredibly successful series on TikTok where he creates meals for under a fiver.
The father of three has recently released a book published by HarperCollins Publishers, called Feed Your Family For Under a Fiver, which has over 80 easy budget-friendly recipes, after his series on TikTok gained so much attention.
Speaking ahead of the Good Food Show, Mitch said: "Life has been incredibly hectic, a million miler per hour and it is still so surreal.
"There will be a mixture of things happening on the day, I will be doing two live cook-alongs on the Summer kitchen stage and I have never done anything like this before in front of a crowd.
"I have done bits on TV but having a live crowd will be nervous but very fun.
"There I'll be doing a book signing, followed by an interview on stage with a meet and greet, so it is all making me almost feel like a celebrity!
