The fair will take place at Willowfields retirement village at Whitehouse Street on Saturday.

Black Country entertainer Kenny Craig will perform at the event.

Kenny said: "I'm just doing an entertainment spot for them. There will be a few things going on in the children's department as well.

"I'm a professional musician and I did a show in Sedgley for the light switch-on so that was a nice event to work on, too.

"It was a great event and I really enjoy doing it and if it brings pleasure to the people then I'm happy about it.

"It also brings the people in the area together as well. The festival starts at 11am on Saturday and I'm sure it'll be a nice atmosphere.

"I always look forward to performing and I take great pleasure and pride in what I do and hopefully things will go well."

The rocker, who lives in Sedgley, said the event is raising money to keep the retirement village running.

He added: "They want to try and raise some money on the day and they want as many people to come down."
