Scarecrow festival to be cut back in size
A scarecrow festival takes place again in September - but this year it will be cut back in size, according to organisers.
Belbroughton Scarecrow Weekend will be on September 30 and October 1.
It is in its 22nd year.
Organisers have said this year's event, however, will be smaller.
A spokesman said: "We have listened carefully to feedback from local residents and visitors to the event.
"You have very clearly told us that you feel the weekend has grown too large, and lost the friendly village feel it once had."
As a result, this year's event will be on the Recreation Ground and Centre, The Green, church hall and Talbot pub car park.
There will also be fewer fairground rides and food outlets.
