Gin event set to raise cash for good causes in Stafford
A gin event will be held to raise funds for Katharine House Hospice and Stone Community Hub.
An evening of gin tasting is on offer at Sandon Hall on March 14 from 7.30pm where a wide range of speciality gins from different distilleries will be available to try.
Participants will enjoy a cheese sharing platter and receive a gin glass to take home.
The event also includes a talk by gin expert David Hunter from the Nelson’s Distillery and Gin School.
Katharine House Hospice’s events fundraiser, Lisa Carson said: “We are delighted to be working in collaboration with Stone Community Hub and really hope the people of Stafford will come along to support our charities and enjoy a gin or two!
"We also have a fantastic new venue this year at Sandon Hall which will definitely add a touch of elegance to the occasion. It promises to be a really great night with lots of different gins from local distilleries to try and take home!”
Tickets are just £20 from khhospice.org.uk/event/gin-sandon-hall or by calling 01785 270808 and include a gin and tonic on arrival, a cheese sharing platter and a gin glass.
All proceeds will be split equally between Katharine House Hospice and Stone Community Hub.
Gin at Sandon Hall is sponsored for the second year by Intro Personnel.
