The festival, which is in its sixth year, will run from Thursday, September 19 to Saturday, September 21.

Thursday evening will see a round of the Champion Beer of Great Britain being judged and from 9pm until close local boys The Magnificent Seven will be spinning some vinyl.

Friday evening sees the return of Chevy Bel Air who went down a storm at last year’s festival with their rock n roll set.

And Saturday afternoon features a session from local singer/songwriter Aaron Page and in the evening, folk guitar and fiddle duo Shindig will close the festival.

New for 2019 on the ale front sees the festival stocking beers from the wood for the very first time. There will be four or five beers served from wooden casks as opposed to the more modern metal ones.

There will be in total over 60 different ales available, varying in style, strength and colour and 20 ciders and perries along with the popular World Beer Bar where visitors can try various bottled and canned beers from many different countries.

The event takes place at The Prince of Wales Theatre in Church Street, Cannock runs from 5pm to 11pm on Thursday, and 12pm until 11pm on Friday and Saturday.

Admission is £3 per person, with discounts for seniors, students and members of the Armed Forces.
