Hale and Pace show off after lack of interest

Comedy duo Hale and Pace have cancelled their show at Wolverhampton's Grand Theatre due to low ticket sales.

Dry Rot was due to run from July 23 until July 28. But show bosses today admitted sales figures had been poor, blaming the recession as well as major public spectacles such as the Olympics and the Jubilee for people staying at home.

The rest of the national tour of the show has also been cancelled.

The Grand today confirmed it had managed to secure a last-minute replacement show, in the form of psychological comedy-thriller Haunted, but was today offering refunds for the cancelled show.
